The Security Officer Assessment (SOA) is available to participants who have completed the Job Readiness Training (JRT), Job Readiness Training for Youth (JRY), or Career Opportunities Resources and Employment (CORE) activity. The SOA is a three-day workshop orientation and pre-screening process for non-felon and non-misdemeanor individuals. The SOA is a pre-requisite activity to the Security Officer Training (SOT) component. |

· Must be over 18 years old; · Be able to read, write, and speak English effectively; · Must possess a valid Identification (ID) or driver’s license; · Must be able to pass a physical exam and drug test; · Have no felonies; · Have no misdemeanors; · A High School Diploma or G.E.D preferred; · Have a copy of RAP sheet/Criminal Records; and · Is willing to accept employment as a security officer or guard. |
